Friday September 11, 2009
Start: Sep 11 2009 5:00 pm

rwb logoThis annual bash celebrates local red and white wines, brews and blues with FREE music in the park and throughout the village. Activities for the whole family, vendors and the Farmer’s Market round out the festivities!

This year start off with Friday's Bartenders' Contest and the Fredonia Beaver Club's Blues Marathon. Then Saturday enjoy children's activities with the Barrel of Monkeys Bouncer, "Kids' "Taste of Fredonia" Cookie decorating, face painting and Chalk Art.

Don't miss the special dedication of the Olympic memorial to Fredonia's own pole vaulting champion and silver medal winner, Jennifer Stuczynski. Join us for this tribute at 11:00 am near the Information Booth!

For Grown Up fun try the "Dunk Your (UN)Favorite Politician" featuring Chautauqua County Legislator Cornell, Fredonia's Mayor Sullivan and Trustee Brown, Town of Pomfret's Supervisor Steger and Councilman Pennica, and others (who wish to remain nameless).

Enjoy and learn more with workshops on;  grape growing and wine making, history of the blues and be advised why prohibition started in Fredonia!

Fill up with "Taste of Fredonia" foods and stop by the best local artists, vendors and wine tasting around. Pick up a t-shirt to prove you've been here to make it a full weekend.

It's more fun than you can handle!

We invite you to visit the Village of Fredonia during the Red, White and Blues Festival to get a taste of one of the best small towns in Western New York!
